Founded by Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Professor Nigel Shadbolt, the ODI is an independent, non-profit, non-partisan, limited by guarantee company.

The ODI has secured £10 million over five years from the UK Government (via the UK innovation agency, the Technology Strategy Board), and $750,000 from Omidyar Network, and is working towards long-term sustainability through match funding and direct revenue.

With a 5,000 sq ft convening space based in the heart of London’s thriving Shoreditch area, and a global remit, we invite everyone intrested in developing Open Data to get in touch.
