美國國家婦女藝術博物館於1981年建館，座落在華盛頓，是私立的非營利性機構，收藏有來自文藝復興時期至當代的2700件永久展品。

在博物館的對外宣傳網站能看到250件展品的照片，及相關女性藝術家的生平簡介。現在，博物館已經發展成了一個綜合性的藝術活動、研究、教育中心。

國際女性藝術博物館﹙World Museum of Women in the Arts﹚是一所位於美國華盛頓特區的博物館，簡稱WMWA。專門展出女性藝術家的作品。包括知名的芙烈達·卡蘿、喬治亞·歐姬芙和瑪麗·加薩特。此博物館於1981年成立，目前有7322平方公尺的館藏面積，過去曾是共濟堂教會的用地，在1987年正式對大眾開放。
