美國房利美公司(Federal National Mortgage Association)是一家在美國紐約股市(New York Stock Exchange)掛牌交易的公司,也是全球最大的非銀行金融服務公司,是世界五百強企業之一。
美國房利美公司成立於1938年,由政府出資建立,主要從事金融業務,公司業務主營房屋抵押;用以擴大資金在二級房屋消費市場上流動的資金,使中低收入家庭更容易獲得房屋貸款,讓更多人能夠擁有住房。1954年房利美髮展為股份制公司。
房利美並非直接向購房者提供貸款,而是通過向貸款機構買進按揭(抵押貸款)資產或是提供信貸擔保服務,來促進抵押貸款市場的資金供給。從1968年以來,房利美已為五千八百萬個家庭,提供了超過美金5.7兆元的抵押貸款融資。

Fannie Mae’s strong third quarter 2013 results were driven primarily by continued stable revenues and credit-related income, resulting in net income of $8.7 billion for the quarter, our seventh consecutive quarterly profit.
From January 1, 2009 through September 30, 2013, Fannie Mae provided approximately $3.9 trillion in liquidity, which enabled 3.4 million home purchases and 12.0 million mortgage refinancings. We also enabled financing for 2.0 million units of multifamily rental housing during this period.
