Class Central又名“課堂中央”，該網站是由戴沃•沙何(Dhawal Shah)創辦，他是一名軟體工程師，白天在舊金山灣區上班，夜裡在家上MOOC。他從去年11月開始籌辦課程中央網，並通過匯入 Hacker News 和 Reddit 等網路社群的點選量建立起了一批受眾。
